Andrea Joy Cook (also known as A.J. Cook is a well-known Canadian actor. Cook is most well-known for her character Jennifer Jareau in CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds, where she plays a Supervisory Agent. The show premiered in 2005 and, as of 2017, the show is at its 13th year. Cook was born in Oshawa in Canada's Ontario province and showed early signs of passion for acting. Her acting career began with a role as a TV guest on Goosebumps. Her film debut was the dramedy The Virgin Suicides, released in 1999. However, the film was not very successful. In the following year, she appeared in a drama program called Higher Ground. Her next role was as a character on Criminal Minds, a police-crime drama which gained her immense recognition.
