Cindy Crawford

Cynthia Ann Crawford, born on 20th February 1966, is an American actress, model and television personality. In the 1980s and 90s she was a renowned supermodel with a prominent appearance on runways and magazines, and also in fashion campaigns. She subsequently expanded into acting and business ventures. In her sophomore year at high school, she was contacted by an email from a local retailer regarding modeling work but was later informed that it was a trick played by two of her fellow classmates. Crawford was among the high school girls recruited by another store, who also did a fashion shoot. Roger Legel (a local photographer) approached Crawford during her junior year to shoot her. The shoot was a shoot with Crawford for the magazine. [9] The photo and the favorable feedback she received was enough to encourage her to begin modeling. She began working for a small agency. Elite Model Management sold her to the agency just after she signed. In 1983 she entered Elite's Look of the Year contest at age 17 and won the national finals.
